West Coast Tour

Leaving Funchal along the Estrada Monumental, you will reach Camara de Lobos village, where Sir Winston Churchill spent time painting. Then a stop after at Cabo Girao, the second highest sea cliff in the world. From this view point you will turn inland and travel up through a valley region to the mountains pass of Encumeada and to Paul da Serra. Famed for its volcanic rock swimming pools you will visit Porto Moniz and have lunch in a restaurant by the sea. From here you will travel to Sao Vicente experiencing the breathtaking drive along the infamous cliff hanging north coast road.
